Dexter J. Compton, Sr.
Pastor-Teacher
- Pastor Compton is a Native of Bunkie, Louisiana and a graduate of Southern University with a B.S. in Math Education and a Master’s of Music Performance in Jazz from the University of Louisiana @ Lafayette.
- Served as pastor of the 15 years at the First Union Kingdom Focused Church in Alexandria , LA . He now serves full time at the Amazon Kingdom Focused Church in Bunkie, LA , where he grew up. He previously served as the Minister of Music at Amazon for 20 years prior to entering the pastoral ministry.
- Pastor Compton has also authored a book entitled “Let’s Go Play - A Guide to God-Led Decision Making” and recorded with numerous artist as a musician.
- He currently resides in Bunkie with his wife of 20 years, Crisdensa and their three children: Christian (24), Dexter Jr. (16) and Dillon (15)
- A man of few words and a humble spirit who proclaims “All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe it all to thee." "To God be the Glory"
Jontae Bibbins
Youth/Virtual Minister
Minister Jontae Bibbins is a 2019 graduate of the Louisiana School of Agricultural Science and currently a senior at Northwestern State University majoring in social work. Minister Bibbins serves as youth minister and heads our virtual services.
Ron Washington, Jr.
Worship Leader/Minister of Music
Bro. Ron Washington serves as minister of music. He is a gifted and anointed singer, keyboardist and recording artist. In addition to his musical talents, he is an entrepreneur owning a business that provides services in photography , event coordinating, decorating, printing and desktop publishing. Bro. Ron also works in the Avoyelles Parish School District teaching media classes.

Our deacon ministry readily serves with a spirit of excellence. They are are capable and accessible in ministering to the congregation, assisting the pastor and attending to the business of the church. Current members are: Bro. Carlos Morris, Bro Marvin McCree, Bro. John lewis, Bro. John Drummer and Bro. Coral Johnson. .

Bro. Leroy Tibbs & Sis. Timeka Leary
Bro. Tibbs & Sis. Leary serve as the co-directors of the youth ministry, Bro. Tibbs is also a noted soloist and music minister who works to train the upcoming generation. Sis. Timeka has passion for youth and diligently works to keep the youth connected and engaged.
