We are continuing in the series, “Decision 26, Acknowledging Jesus as Lord”.  If we are truly acknowledging Jesus as Lord of our lives, we must submit our will to His in every area of our lives.  If He is Lord, we must Listen to His voice, Obey His word, Respect His authority and Do His will  (John 10:27).  We have discussed what we must do in order for him to reign in the areas of our thoughts, tongue, possessions, work, relationships, etc.  

REMODEL  (Restroom Additions)

• The deacons have been meeting with the contractor and we have a new set of plans that will be shared very soon.  The plans include the addition of 4 restrooms ( 2 for ladies and 2 for men, each with 3 stalls), an open space that can be divided into 3 classes with movable petitions or opened to function as a fellowship hall/meeting area, a warming kitchen and 2 offices (pastor & secretary). 

 
HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY (Current Restrooms)

• This project has been completed.  New doors to the waiting area entrance and restrooms that are wider for handicap accessibility.  In addition, several other small projects were added and completed (steps to back door on ladies side, repair of handrail to baptism pool, changing of door knobs to choir stand, chair height commode in men restroom. 

PROPERTY PURCHASE (Next Door)

• We have obtained an appraisal as requested by the SE 8th District Assoc.  The next step is to agree on an offer price and set up a meeting after which we will give another update.
